The [Late?] Masterlink?

Pardon me if this issue has already been settled here before, but whatever happened to the Masterlink? I don't really need the 24 channels of the HD24, but will that be superseding the Masterlink? There appear to be no more Masterlinks in the retail pipleline, and no one seems to know if there will be more coming.

The Masterlink is a hi-res (24/96), 2-track mixdown unit with on-board DSP, not a multitrack recorder.

Not sure... I haven't heard anything - I assume while Alesis was "under reconstruction", there were delays in shipping product to some dealers.

A local place here has them... I haven't heard anyone say they're being pulled or anything like that. They are quite popular...
