This is killing me! I can't take her there because she is 3 and wants to touch things I can't afford to buy when she breaks them, and I couldn't devote the proper attention to what I am doing

You have my sympathy.
My kids are old enough now(6&8)that I can take them to the music store and have a reasonable look around, still nothing beats going by yourself.

Good luck!

Mission accomplished. I got them to plug it into a live PA and they let me screw with it (really loud, I drew a crowd! :D ) for about 30 minutes. I am in love! I got my bass to really growl for the first time since I lost my bass amp (that's a long story that maybe I will tell in the bass tuning thread). I am going to go back Thursday to pick it up.

For Cellardweller: they did have the GT2, but I didn't get a chance to check it out because they didn't have any lefty guitars in the store.

No MXR stuff, but they had every Boss pedal ever made...

They also carried a couple other Sansamps: the classic and one other. It was a good experience, and now I can't wait until Thursday!

Sweeeeeeet...
I mean DAMNIT!!!

Any hot Japanese women in the crowd?
Not to subtract from that meaningful thread, but what kind of bass amp did you have?

I had a Ampeg SVT 350 for awhile. It got stolen, recovered and stolen again in a month's time. I tried to get a Gallien Krueger amp off MF, but it never arrived. I asked the damn company what happened to my amp, and they told me that it got returned with a note that I didn't want it
I suspect that either my wife pulled a dirty trick (she swears to this day that she didn't do it), or the military postal service did it. Either way, it left me with nothing... :(

And there were some pretty cute girls in the crowd... :)

guys guys, big question here:
i spent lots of minutes thinking about this:

i don't have any compressors left, gonna record a band, hehe,
what will be the result if i run a bassguitar trough my

sansamp psa1 (guitar preamp)

there's no built in compressor, only drive, distortion, bass, blablabla

can i safely record bass trhough this or will it fuckup?
i'm gonna use clean settings, i know that if u use distortion u got some kind of compression, but thats not what i want in a bassguitar

Yes you can safely record your bass through the Sans, it will sound fine, read all the posts of the other enthousiasts for this little box..........................

Okay Rokket it is now Thursday...........................so how much do you like your newfound toy.......................I think you may even be able to capture the sound of your old Ampeg SVT with the Sans bassdriver, should have some sample settings for that in the manual.

I am still messing with it! I have gotten a few settings that were close to the Ampeg. I could really get my bass to growl through that amp. Hopefully I can post a clip in the next few days to show the difference it made!
