Actually, there is a 3rd guitar up the center. I guess I should bring it up a bit.
 
I'd like to have a re-listen without the vocals. Not really my cup o' tea, but I think as a whole the song works. (no comment on the lyrics) :p

Most of what I heard has been mentioned already ie. up the bass, clean up vocals and bring them forward. That snare needs to change. Back up vocals are too "backup" and they seem to wander.

I do like the pan on the backup guitar.

That's about as mean :mad: as I can be.........(online) :D
 
I have been making changes since I posted it. The vocal will be sung by someone else, if he ever decides to show up, and the backing vocals will be retracked after he sings the lead, since his inflection won't be the same as mine. I've doubled the guitar parts and played with them a bit. I added a keyboard part, but since I can't play keys for shit, it was just some "strings" that follow the guitars.

If someone can play the keyboard and do a better solo, let me know. I will post it on either Geet's server, or NL5's. I will be working on a lyric rewrite when my singer gets here.

Thanks! I will get to it as soon as it's mixed again. I have made several changes, including a different singer! :o

I will post it again when it's done!
 
OK, the track is coming down in a moment. The remix will be on Geet's server in a day or two...

I will have to post a copy of it without the vocals. The guy who sang it doesn't want me to post it. (Maybe I can put it up really fast and you can let me know when you got it, and I can take it back down).

Just to clarify that line:

It's two lines, but they ended up getting sung together the way I did it. I am not much of a singer, you know that. The guy who did sing it got them separate enough to tell that they are two lines.

I love you so much
I adore you
I'm living my life just for you


Just a cheesey love song for my wife, not something I would ever try to sell...
