My poor old $30 peavey addverb 2 is dying. The internal battery has leaked all over the board inside and it's not pretty. I've cleaned it/resoldered and given it a new battery but the damage is done and each day it gets worse. No great loss, but in a way I'll miss her.
I need a cheapish replacement reverb. I really only use it to make my sansamp/rockman sustainor guitar tones more realistic while throwing ideas into my pc, and perhaps a touch on our electric drum kit.
I don't need super lush thousand dollar sounds but I certainly don't want crap. I did have a little behringer FX800 and while this fits the bill to some extent, it sounds pretty ugly (I gave it away).
I am thinking the TC electronics M350 will work for me. Reverb, plus the ability to run another effect on a different send/return at the same time will be pretty handy for my purposes. I don't think I'd use the digital outs though.
Anyone have one? Any better choices? I'd rather not spend more than $500 on it.
