i got this 424 original two weeks ago and i can't figure out how to use it without a scan of a manual. would anyone be able to help me? i'd be so grateful, because i can make little sense of the machine as of yet, and the manuals i have seen for the mkII and mkIII detail very different specifications and commands, as many changes were made.
and if there is no chance of locating an original manual, can someone give me a detailed guide on how to record 4 tracks and then output to tape. e.g. TRACK 1: drums and bass, TRACK 2: guitar, TRACK 3: vocals, and so on. i understand EQ settings and how to set trim and sound levels, but certain buttons like 'tape cue' leave me mystified, and with no manual recording in impossible.
