Tascam M-1B manual

I've been shedding a bunch of hardware and in general downsizing - I plan on sailing away for 5 years...

But, I have kept a few things and have a need/desire for a Tascam M-1B manual (service or operators or both)

Pointers to the right place would be welcome.

Not yet. But perhaps on the clock.

I'm down to just 2 decks. A 34 and a br-20. Both Atr-100's are gone along with the 16 track. Just thinking about what to keep and what to let go.

I just accidentally came across one of these in a large morasse of purchased gear from a now deceased (RIP) musician whose wife asked me to clear out his "music room" which included some incredible things, some of the tastier bits:
Calrad "Elvis" mic with 1/8 inch plug, the JL Cooper rack mount MIDI thing, the Akai digital MIDI patch bay, EMU proteus 2, set of original Auratone Q60 monitors, the rare EV studio monitor, and many other pretty rare things. Not selling these things, so this is not an advert. About 300 items or so. For keyboardists and MIDI-computer nerd guys, such as myself, this was
like an adventure and Christmas rolled into one.

Back to the issue at hand. I love the old vintage stuff. I have 3 of the old Altec green face mic preamp/mixers with the huge Class A transformers. I love the sound better than tube pres, it's just fantastic crisp and clean no caffeine. But then.....then.....I run across this Tascam M-1B. I really do love Tascam gear. The coolest piece ever was the Teac cassette mastering console that had a reel to reel cassette with the cool preamp thing in order, yes, master cassettes to uber volumes. My Italian wife threatened to remove certain irreplaceable parts of my anatomy if I kept it so, painfully, I be gettid rid of it. Yikes, but man she is so persuasive. I have a DA-38, DA-98HR. The 98 is interesting because it was about the only digital tape based ADAT type box that actually would do 192K on 2 tracks. Thing is this unit will need repair and all that rot and I can't mess with it right now being under the gun for 4 books to finish right now.
(pardon me, I'm a writer, and I also suffer a severe case of ADHD, I'm in major verbage mode, but this actually helps to write it out)
So here we are with this 8 channel summing unit. I would love to find a manual for it. I've never see a mixer type thing that has FLB on it. SSL uses the term "fold back" which this might be. Or "front line/level buss" who knows?

I want to come out of the Burl Mothership with 8 channels and hit the M1-B then shoot that back into a stereo master.
I also want to get this out to the Auratones but also to split off to the Altecs, the JBL's, et al to get that variet of listening contexts.

Any help most appreciated.

FLB means “foldback” on the Teac. This was common terminology on mixing consoles and other devices in the 1970s and earlier and into the 1980s.
