Tascam FPT connection to computer question.

Hi, I work with a Tascam SX-1. It has a FPT connection (I think that means like a lan connection) for connection to a computer for file transfer back and forth.

What I'm unsure of is what I need on the computer to hook it up. I think it already is connected to a dsl server connection, so I will need to buy another lan card. Does anyone know for sure if that's all I need to do? To buy another ethernet card? or do you think having two will make complications for the computer?
