Yes, I have some projects scheduled as soon as the studio is finished, I tried to post some pictures of the progress but my new camera has too many bytes. I have to figure out how to compress them or something. I use to almost make a living recording a while back. I have had other ventures since then. I cant wait to get back in business.

Hey Dodge,
I believe the first Boston album was done on a Tascam 80-8. That album is a masterpiece! I guess size doesnt matter with some things.
Thanks
Dana

That's cool. I'm going to pull that record out and take another listen to it. Sometimes I forget what I post and where so it takes me some time to post back a reply.
I believe you are correct. The cards are different. Though I've never seen the cards from an MSR24...being a two head machine, they would have to be different as well which now makes me wonder how I ever ended up with a spare card that said channel 21 on it!?

hello-its been a long time-i just want to make a correction to my previous post about Boston using a Tascam 80-8 on their first album.I now have had the pleasure of working with one of Tom Schultz recording engineers in my studio and after great conversation,I learned that the first Boston album was recorded on a Scully 12 track 1 inch tape machine that Tom still owns.
