Hi, I have just picked up a 424 to have a bit of fun with. I was told that it had been used to record audio books for the blind and channels 3 & 4 had been disabled. I opened it up and the connectors to channels 3 & 4 had indeed been disconnected from the board. I thought I was lucky and had an easy fix with the connectors being yellow and black and identified as to which went where on the board. Put it all back together and I still only have channels 1 & 2.
Can anyone please help? Is it common to disconnect channels and if so is there a way to get them going again?
This is my first post here and thanks for any help.
