Tascam 2488 neo... is there a test pattern so I can create a light show?

..... I noticed that some yamaha product have a combination of keys that you can hit to create a light show where the buttons that light flicker off and on in patterns...(EX keyboard and 4416 recorder)....Does the Tascam 2488 neo do anything like that?....I have one and i want to show off!

Try the diagnose screen. From the old Tascam Forums:

Turn off the 2488

Hold down Fader/Pan + Solo + Delete (silence)
Turn on 2488 and marvel at all the pretty lights (you can let go of the buttons now)

Ok, you can then scroll through the 2 or 3 options for the lights using the arrow keys, no lights, steady lights, slow falshing lights, fast flashing lights. You can also test every button to see if it functions and all the faders.

Hit menu and you can check really useless things like the version number but you can also change various settings. Alas, didn't solve my problem but heck, it looks impressive and does exactly what it should do.

When finished just switch off as usual and restart normally.

My kids will love this....I called Tascam and some guy asked me 10,000 questions before he would even let me ask a question.....then finally just said..."NO".....I felt like I was at the doctors office!
