I recently got a 244 and have been fooling around on it, but I didn't get a manual. Had a few questions. I can't seem to tell any difference in panning when using the cue section. 
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Also, I've recorded some instrumentation on trk 1 and went to overdub on trk 2 and somehow recorded over track one (?) I really like the quality of this unit (this thing is rock solid and seriously built to last!) but I wish I knew how to use it properly. Can anyone throw me some pointers!?? Thanks and Cheers,
