Tascam 22-2 Ticking ?

Hi I have just obtained a Tascam 22-2 Reel to Reel ..it seems to be in good working order and the Record and playback seems fine, but when the Capstan motor turns (no Tape) there is a ticking sound (it gets faster with the increase of speed) it's not to loud but can someone tell me what it could be?, before i take the cover off and have a look, also has any one got a Sevice manual fot this Model.

It could be the capstan drive belt, the motor that drives the belt of the bearings on the flywheel.

Changing the belt and oiling the bearing are the two easiest and cheapest avenues to pursue.
