I am interested in purchasing Tannoy Wildcat Series speakers. They were Tannoys in black boxes with metal corners, handles and metal grills. They were loaded with a rare driver which was a "Gold" but with a new and massive magnet which increased the sensitivity slightly and the rated power by 400%.
The units manufactured later even had a more robust cross-over than the earlier Wildcats and that is the bunch I am looking for. The early ones had lots of electronic parts in the passive crossovers and the later ones were your basic coils and were able to stand the abuse of live performance better than the early ones.
I am open to offers of most models and I would be willing to purchase almost any model but I have my heart set on the "Puma" which was a 15", 200 watt dual concentric in a moderate size case. There was also an interesting dual 12" model... It had two 12" dual concentric drivers in a small box that you could put on a stand or set on a chair or table... I think it was a 300 watt box (2 x 150w) but I can't remember.
If you know of someone who has a pair in working order please ask if they would be willing to sell them to me on eBay and using PayPal. I have 100% positive feedback on two eBay accounts.
