Sync. Tascam 388 & 238

This is possible, with the proper sequencer/cables and sync tone.. -SMPTE/EBU to MIDI/FSK? (Sounds like two soccer teams). 14 tracks with two differents sets of 7 with separated characteristics. Would be nice. Anyone done this?

It will be a big challenve at the very best. One is a parallel type interface protocol (the 388) and the other is serial (the 238). Something like the TimeLine Micro Lynx could do it, but the cables will likely have to be custom-made. If you can't do that yourself then expect to pay quite a bit for the cables.
