emeric,

I remember when you first posted your vocal, I think you are alot more comfortable with singing now. Sounds good!

The arrangement works, but not as wild as your other instrumental stuff. But, I think it's fine for this type of feel tho.

Downloaded everything you got on that site, I am set with music for the next week or so:) Where is the unknown song? I was looking for it

Al

Hi Al, thanks for checking it out.

The unknown song isn't up there. I'll put some of the other stuff up there eventually.

drstawl: Oh well, this is the arrangement and I'm sticking to it! :D

I think I like the first remix over the extended one, overall. It's not that I don't like the extended part there's just something about that first remix that grabbed me a little more. One tangible thing is the vocs in the chorus'... they're louder and maybe mixed a little differently on the first one. It's a very cool blend that immediately caught my attention. Overcompression in the first remix didn't jump out too much to me, but I can definitely hear it breathing a little on the toms in the first chorus, for example.

I have the original version and really like what you've done here. Great vocal blending going on, it totally breathed some life into the tune. The one thing I miss from the original version is the guitar in the extended part... I liked that in there, but probably just 'cause that's what I'm familiar with.

Hi

Nice. I really like your style. You were one of the first artists I downloaded and I remembver your voice aswell as your perfect drums and guitar. I want to listen to more of your tunes now. Cheers.

Great arrangement, I love it when things break from the norm and you hear something unexpected. Getting better with every listen.

James (Argo) warned me one year ago for your talent, emeric. Somehow I never got to listening...

Anyway, he was right. Very good!

I'm with SLuiCe all the way here...except I like the ending.

Emeric,

Damn son, listened to two, though my favorite Koss phones.

WOW, nice!!

Did you do all the instruments?

Only nit, the bass sounds like it's coming from a different space than the rest of the mix, I hope you know what I mean, maybe too direct sounding, to forward, compared to the rest of the mix? Very easy to overlook though.

Great harmony, and panning.

Liked everthing about this one!!

The drumming is just right, not too mundane, not to flashy.

I liked this one a lot dude, but I've liked all your stuff. Yeah the second one (next) sounded a lot better than the first version(3). Much clearer. I'd keep it. And I liked the ending too. On both versions. Take your pick.

Twist

Hey pglewis, thanks for the listen. I remember the guitars in the extended, it was the same guitar part as during the chorus's but palm muted. I would of left that in but it got deleted somehow, ages ago.

Hi Erland, thanks for checking it out .

Good to hear it's a bit different than the norm, appreciate that lynx.

Pedullist, I try. This is a pretty old tune though, wrote it in the summer of 1993. Thanks for the comments.

Hi GT, I do guitars / bass / vocals. The drums were done by Mr. Plant. The bass is a shade loud. Thanks for tuning in.

Appreciate the listen twist, glad you like it.

You organize song structure the way painters deal with composition, I think. The song ticks along with a standard verse/chorus pattern, and then morphs into something else at the end, from 2.25. I love that change, with different chords and layered vocals. It's pretty spectacular. :) It's the sort of thing I try to do with my stuff sometimes but don't succeed at very often. That's the first and biggest thumbs up for this one.

I like the chords in this one. The chord changes seem to make no obvious sense in themselves, but the whole song makes sense, so you've magicked that one.

The sound: I like stuff with more dynamic range better, and I think your sound lends itself to that - you could really milk it, in fact. Or do you prefer big sound all the way through - waveforms that take up the whole screen?

Good one, Emeric.
