Still Learning.......
I've recently aquired (cheaply) a gadget labs 8/24 with Cubase 32 (? Does that make sense?) thrown in by the guy selling it.
This is a bit of an upgrade for me from running Cubasis and a soundblaster Audigy!
I've installed everything and it all seems fine, but I would like to use the gadgetlabs 8-ins, but still use the Audigys headphone socket on the live drive as this would be real useful for me when mixing. I've gone to the master window output bit and it only shows the 8/24 outputs in pairs, ie, wave 8/24 1+2, wave 8/24 3+4. I belive this is because the 8/24 is my ASIO device.
Is there a way to use the Audigy headphone socket?
Do I need to change ASIO devices after recording to the Audigy? Or is there another way?
If I have to use the 8/24 outputs, will I need a mixer to use headphones?
I'm really stuck on this and have never used Cubase (only Cubasis).
Please help!!!!!!
