StudioPhile Bxs monitors good?

I was looking at some monitors at guitar center yesterdayl, and I saw the studiophile bxs for like 199 or 299. I can't remmber there where also a pair called like refectives 20x20 I'm not sure if thats the name. But they where 149$. Are any of these any good?

You were at GC, you saw the monitors, and you didn't ask to hear them?

As Red Buttons used to say, "Strange things are happening...."

I'm not familiar with the brands you mentioned but if you bring your favorite CD or tape back to the GC, give it a listen on every pair of monitors they have plugged in.

Then, let your ears and wallet make the selection, preferable your ears.

I'm a pretty big fan of the BX8's - Make sure that they're properly set though before listening - The ones I've seen at GC are always set up backwards (you want to start with the A.S. switch at -4 - Long story - Trust me.)
