StudioGear??

I want to build a HomeStudio in the near future but I haven't got any experience in the whole studio recording progress!

I want a studio that lets me be able to produce songs of a quality that eventually could be sold to TV/Radio stations. Rock, blues and pop songs are the style of songs I would compose.

I have made a list of equipment which I think would do the job quit well, but as mentioned before I haven't got any experience!

Do you have any better alternatives to the list?

I'd probably skip the TC and the Lexicon and look at acoustic treatment like bass traps instead.

For headphones in tracking, you might want to look at isolation phones instead of the semi open ones. Maybe check out Vic Firth or More Me.

I would add some form of recording software like sonar, cubase, pro tools etc. to the list. As far as i know NI Kontakt 3 is only a sample library, so you'll need a program on your pc/mac to record with.

If you're interested, my personal choice would be sonar, but its really a matter of preferance. All of the big brands are good, its basically different ways of doing the same thing imo.
