Hey folks,
I'm acoustically treating a room for tracking. I'm gonna start by removing the carpet and installing a wood floor. There are so many types of woods to choose from, I'm confused. I've considered Bamboo, because it's inexpensive. But I can't find any acoustic research concerning this flooring type. So here's the question...
Acoustically, is Bamboo inferior to Oaks, Maples and other such timbers? If not Bamboo, what other flooring do you recommend?
Any answers would be much appreciated.
Thanks
