As promised, here's a few minutes of their club demo. These songs are all copyright protected, BUT because I'm posting only snippets of them, purely for educational purposes, I don't think I'm in violation of the copyrights.Harvey Gerst said:I recorded a pretty good cover band Monday and I'll be mixing them today, so I'll try to post some clips later. All vocals were done with the MXL V67.
I thought the exact same thing, he's kind of heavey with the Blue gear. I'll bet he works at Guitar Centergiraffe said:i'll play the "who is recordingpro" game for just a minute.
how much you wanna bet he used to work somewhere where he could get super deals on blue products?
go back and take a look at his gear picts real quick, and think about it.

You should post in the cave, if you just want to trade insults....since you obviously don't really want to talk about mics. The cave is in need of a clueless bimbo who doesn't know his "arse" from a hole in the ground...like you...to ridicule and laugh at.recordingpro said:I've heard of you though - I heard your a Broke Back Mountain sort of chap - did you ever get that Red Type A to fit up you arse
Hey Harvey! I jus did the same song a while ago live in a club for a band. If I remember all sm57 across the from, a few wireless on horns. This is just ruff mix( well kind of) so the band could determne which songs to mix. Its the Brass Taxi clip.If interested!Harvey Gerst said:As promised, here's a few minutes of their club demo. All the vocals were recorded using a stock, unmodified, MXL V67G.

Very nice; wish I had real horns on my tracks instead of synth horn stabs. Although, I had one keyboard guy in that could really make it sound like real horns.jmorris said:Hey Harvey! actually there is a "type a" but it's not released to the public yet - i'm not sure it ever will be - it's a tube mic similar to the BObviously knows nothing about mics either. Red doesn't make a "Type A".
