I did that last night ... England won in the footy and all of a sudden the pub across the road seemed so much more appealing. First time I've been REALLY drunk for almost three years ............................ and how I feel this morning, I'm going to be aiming for another three. :eek:

ok, here's my submission for cheap mic recordings, me and a girl were practicing last night and I decided to hook up the cheap mics I had and do a quick recording, she goes off pitch a couple time, she's usually rock solid, but she was nervous in front of the mic. Here's what I used

Older SE Electronics LDC-my voice
AT 4040-her voice
Samson CO1-Guitar

Now it doesn't get much cheaper and cheap sounding than the CO1, but I think I got a good sound out of it, especialy considering I just pointed it and checked levels and didn't listen through phones to see if it worked. I only EQ'd our voices a little, and did nothing to the guitar. The song is "A living Prayer"

Acoustic I think
It plays fine form my end, but that means nothing I guess

Ok I just changed it to acoustic -cover songs, from acoustic-acoustic guitar

I can just email it to you if it doesn't work, it's only 2.54mb
 
Soundclick pisses me off. I mean, I don't mind having to log in; but I do object to being instantly redirected to the front page of the site once I have logged in. It's not so bad if I can simply reopen the link and be taken straight to the artist's music page but, for some bizarre reason, your link logs me straight out again.

BTW, who am I looking for? I can't find anyone called Guitarfreak12 there.
