Studio projects C4's/or MXL 603's

well I have the snare mic(shure sm57) bought and I am going to buy the bass drum mic next(AKG D112)

oh sorry I didn't mention that I'm looking at these two stereo pairs cause I need drum overheads

I have heard that many people swear by the 603's and that they work and I know some people that have the C4's and they love them

well I just wanted to know your input on weather to get the more expensive C4's that have more features or the trust worthy 603's

I havent tried the C4, but I have the 603`s and they really kill for the price, very clear and nice for oh`s and exelent for acc guitar.

i've never heard a bad thing about the c4s, and all people seem to say about the 603s is that they're "good for the price"

They'd still be a good deal, even if they cost a lot more.
