Linchpin New member Jul 21, 2003 #1 This is my first condenser. I just unplugged my sm58 and plugged in the b1, but I'm not geting any sound out of it. Am I missing something here?

Mark7 Well-known member Jul 21, 2003 #3 He's right. The B1 is a Condensor mic that requires Phantom Power (typically 45 - 48 Volts) to operate. What kind of mixer/pre-amp do you have?
