Studio Preamp

Ok, question for the veterans on here. What brand & model would you recommend as a decent preamp to use in the Studio. This will be to run Guitars through etc. (And Vocals as well)

I dont have a big budget, all though I know you usually only get what you pay for.

Isnt there one out there that not big bucks, and at the same time your not ashamed to own it, and use it >? :cool: (Also, if it could be possible, Id like something thats 2 channel & 19" rack mountable. I rack all my gear whenever possible)

without a definative budget it's hard to say, but good, budget pre's like the DMP3 are RNP out there.

What have you been looking at so far?

Get 2 of the VTB1's and get the rack mount kit for 14 bucks that you can mount them on. The VTB1's are only $99 at musicians friend... ;)
 
whoa guys, are you sure you're veterans? nobody has asked this kind of question before so how are we to know?
