Hello,
I have a couple of basic (hopefully not stupid) questions...I am thinking of purchasing the BOSS JS-5 Jamstation (backing machine) for jamming as well as songwriting and eventually recording.
Now...I don't have any amplified system to play it through so I thought that it would make most sense to buy active (powered) studio monitors to use since they will come in handy when I eventually do some recording.
My first question is - is that my smartest option?
Secondly, do I need to buy TWO (i.e. a pair) studio monitors? I assume if I want stereo then the answer is yes, but I don't know much about studio monitors...can you have stereo with one?
