Does the placement of studio monitors effect the mix ? (RAP VOCALS)

Does The Loudness of the Monitors ?

I use Logic Pro 9

Yes and Yes. If you know what a GOOD mix sounds like with your monitors, then you can work with them knowing your 'studio'. The best method is to mix, burn a copy, then listen to is on as many different systems as you can. Then go back, 'fix' (remix) and do teh same again.

Your youtube video is private - can't view it. Read the Studio section of this forum before buying a lot useless foam.

Everything about the monitoring chain effects everything. Every decision you make (including what looks like some pretty interesting EQ choices) is based on how the monitoring chain translates to your ears.

Does The Loudness of the Monitors ?
I can't even imagine working through a non-calibrated (for loudness) chain.
