Well i read the entire thread, dont think the question was answered, its all opinion...........BUT, clearly both men were great musicians and DIFFERENT.
Whos the best, depends on what characteristics you consider better than others, personally, a person who invents something new and takes a particular thing to another dimension stands out, and there have been many people in history who have done this, this is far removed from those who are influenced and generally pay homeage by their dedication to that already invented, totally different, do you know how hard it really is to invent, clearly Hendrix was the Explorer, SRV was a settler.
