Steven Paul responded, hopefully in a non-sarcastic manner, to one of my posts on his forum, indicating that he may be working on a mic that is the equivalent of his Neumann U87 mod with 3 micron diapragm for under $1000.

Looks like he will... there's a few assholes over there trying to convince him to sell them for $2000-$3000. Geez there really are people that think that if the price isnt high you can't get good equipment or feel good about it. Its a Steven Paul for crying out loud, just that logo alone is worth $1000, they should be happy. I think its all about getting a step up on the little guy. Steven Paul seems to be interested in how the little guy gets buy, considering thats what my thread was kinda bitching about anyway, when he brought it up. Alot of great stuff could probably be had cheaper if not for this pay-more mentality.

Hehe, everyone keeps asking, which I find odd because I can see it clearly enough , anyway it's the result of me giving up on trying to resize one of the cool animated Gifs that I wanted to use, and settling for anything, which happened to be a T-Rex eating a Caveman.
