Stereo bus Compression

Hello, was wondering if it was ok to add a little compression on the stereo bus for a final mix. Now I'm talking very like just to smooth out the top end, I'm not trying to squash anything. And these mixes are for commercial use and will be mastered by a pro mastering engineer. I am using Pro ToolsLe w/ the Digi 001 as my my recording and mixing platform. I usually apply the bombfactory LA-2A or 1174 as my stereo bus compressor and sometimes the MACdsp Compressor bank.

If you're sending it to a pro for mastering... DON'T TOUCH IT.

Let the pros do it.........
