If this were the www.soccermomsurfingthewebwhilethehubbyisatwork.com forum, then you're right. People would be very interested in the Dells that you're speaking of. That is, the integrated video, sound, tiny case with crappy power supply variety.![]()

My sole point was that Dells will do the job for a large number of folks here, and can be purchased inexpensively. They are easy to support, and miles ahead of Gateway, HP, and the other commercial systems. IMO a modest Dell probably exceeds the needs of most folks on this board for what they do. I suspect most folks spend more time on this board, than they do in actual recording. Gear whores always need newest/biggest as a substitute for talent, or for doing anything at all other than post.
