Soundtracs Topaz Project 8

I agree, I wouldn't pay $1900 for a System8 OR a Project 8.

The Topaz can assign channel direct outs to act as buss outs, but you can't assign them to any buss out...channels 1, 9 and 17 do buss 1, channels 2, 10, and 18 do buss 2, etc. I suppose that's their take on the floating architecture. While its not full-featured, it does seem pretty useful for a board that generally runs under a grand.

Rob, what extra mixers/consoles do you have around besides the Seck?
 
My boss may still have a System 8 in his attic, as well as the TAC Scorpion that I had years ago. I am not sure though. Other than that, I really don't have any extra consoles kicking around. I believe I still have the frame for a D&R 4000 kicking around too:D

Lets just say that what I paid and what they cost new are two different stories. At this point I am more than $30k into it, but I got an incredible deal on it.
 
Also, the pictures don't do it justice. It seems MUCH larger in real life:D

i have a topaz project 8 24 channel mixer for sale on ebay if anyone is interested. its clean and works perfect!

asking 750 plus shipping (about 70-80)
