soundproofing a 6x6 iso booth - techniques?

I have read many threads concerning soundproofing tactics or techniques and I am trying to finalize a plan and figure out any cost effective measures.

I am almost prepared to use the double wall effect -
(outside to the inside)

1/2" Dry wall
2X4 Wood Stud
1/2" Sound Diffuser
1/2" Drywall
2X4 Wood Stud
1/2" Sound Diffuser
1/2" Drywall

and then attach acoustic panels on the ceiling and 3/4 of the way down the walls.

I am planning to use this booth for multiple types of recordings

ie: drums, guitar, vocals...etc.

I would like to ask if anybody has any recomendations for specs or materials. I would also like to find out if i would use the same plan for the ceiling and floor. The floor is a concrete basement. And finally the perimeter space for the booth is 6X6 foot.

booya...this sounds like a triple leaf system. If by sound diffuser you mean that sound attenuating board, I think that would qualify as a middle leaf. If so, that has to go.

Also, if you want to record a drum kit, 6 x 6 is small and tight. Maybe if you have a three peice kit you could do it. I have a standard five peice kit, and there is no way I could fit it in a 6 x 6 space. I need an inside dimension of 8 x 8 min. for the drums, drummer, and mics. Just something to think about. You might want to use a single wall technique for some more space.

Another thing, AIR. If you are planning on such soundproofing techniques, you will have an airproof enclosure as well. Have you thought about venting, and how, without letting in or generating sound at the grills? I haven't built one myself, but maybe someone can chime in here, or do a search. Maybe tie into an existing HVAC, with supply and returns through small offset plenums and "S" ducting? Anyway, I agree with Rich, 6x6 seems claustraphobic. 8x8 would be a minimum for me. I know it brings up the cost, but would probably work better for a drummer.
