After mixing down to two track and cutting off the dead noise beforehand, I get a noticable "blip" at the cut. Is this comon or a "sound" I'm unaware of in the cut. Let me know if you've had similar results and how you've dealt with them.

Thanks in advance

Zoom all the way in on the wave and make sure you cut it at the zero crossing point.

I tried what you suggested and I still get a "blip." I chose a spot just before the music, dragged left to the end of the track window and and then cut that portion (my drum machine click track). Right up on the edge of the windowis a vertical line - a very audible blip. Any other thoughts or suggestions? Its the same blip noise I get whenever I hit play, wherever I am in the song.

Thanks

If it does it any time you click play (anywhere within the song), I'd be inclined to believe it's something to do with the drivers or the soundcard it's self.
You could try opening the wave file in any other audio file player (i.e. WinAmp, Windows Media Player, etc) or a wave editor like Audacity and see if you still get the "blip".
If other players/editors don't do it then we need to look into why n-Track is.
