thanks doods!
Axe4Yahweh - yeah this is a happy one eh?

thanks for the ears man..
Charva - long time no see man.. 'marijuana polka' is still one of my all time homrecer favorites.. looking forward to the new ones.. thanks for checkin' it out..
caretaker9 - up until this point you were able to avoid hearing me croon.. sorry your luck ran out!

thanks as always for bothering.
petelait - muze my man, glad to hear it sounds decent over there.. I think the only radio that would play my stuff would be 'ham radio!'

and of course Nowhereradio, but that's only because Waldo doesn't discriminate..

I am going to be making a Cd, and I'll probably make copies and just give them away to who ever feels sorry enough for me to take one..

thanks for the ears bud!
M.Brane - I like punchy drum sounds too, but I just can never get them.

I'll try those e.q. suggestions.. thanks for the ears and the tip man!
Guernica - you are one of the reasons why I mixed this a billion times.. When I posted it last time, everyone thought it sounded good.. Then I got to your reply and you were using words like 'harsh, mid-range, honky sounding' etc,

It was exactly what I was thinking but no one really mentioned it.. I'm glad to hear you say it sounds better, but I think you probably just gave up like I did..

thanks G! let me know when it's collaboration time!
mixmkr - "what's the secret behind the drip"

It could be either of 3 things mix.. The first one could be, I was going for an abandoned basement asylum type feel, and there were lots of leaks in the damp, dark, ice cold concrete room..

almost like locked in the dugeon of an abandoned asylum.."yeah that's it!".. (I literally laughed out loud while typing that one!) OR it could be riches to rags, meaning 'just a drop in the bucket,' financially speaking.. NAH!

It's just a plumbing thing.. Funny that you made the connection.. Are you sorry you asked?

You were another main reason why I remixed this.. When you said 'where's the high's,' I erased it.. I'm glad you think it's an improvement.. thanks as always mix!
Cranky One - if you think these vocals are off,
wait until you hear the vocals I started to lay for our collaboration tune!

thanks Crank, you suck!
boydrj - good to hear, thanks man!
theron - when I listen to older mixes before I started getting feedback, it scares me.. glad to hear its sounding decent over there.. You were another very helpful set of ears.. thanks..
Triple M - I always brace myself for your comments because I expect them to be bad, but not without trying to be helpful.. and I appreciate that you always bother.. yeah participant's a trip!

I will listen for the clip you mentioned.. glad no one else mentioned it.
enrichenryus - "Thelonious Monk" I never heard of it, but it sounds cool. What is it?.. I hear what your saying about an acoustic sound working, and then going into the heavy part.. I will use that idea on another tune.. This one I was going for a certain 'last moments before insanity' type feel.

The keyboards were almost like an insane circus type thing..

Congrats on the TD-8! It took a long time before the sound grew on me.. I really didn't like the snares at first, but once I started recording a lot, I learned to love them! thanks for the comments man..
DarthFaders - I really wanted to get your ears on this because of the high quality of your stuff.. It sounds like you think the vocals are almost at the point of being too loud and I agree.. People here kept telling me to turn them up, and then I started getting used to hearing them like this.. I think my voice should be a bit lower.. I also agree about the snare, but the drums are on a 2 track stereo mix.. I can only e.q. the whole drum set..

(electric)thanks for the ears.. your stuff is serious quality.. your comments are noted..
