Hello Farview,

Pardon if my wordwrap isn't working. This isn't the first time I misconstrued or misunderstood an internet post. It is very possible to mistake humour for smart ass and insight for foolery. The typed word doesn't convey voice tone or facial expression and sometimes the meaning gets lost in the wording. I took your comment to be insulting and apparently you didn't mean that. My apologies.
On most forums there always seems to be something for someone to disagree about, and if there isn't something someone will find SOMETHING, ANYTHING.Sometimes I enjoy the wrangling and sometimes I have better things to do, I mean I'm here to help if I can and to maybe pick a few things up and enjoy the comradere people have when they share a common interest or goal.On the other hand if I spend too much time on here I'm not recording a figging thing and then I get annoyed with myself.
Theres always the bozo with said degree from acme engineering who knows it all,in fact he or she knew it all before they went to school. I'm not accusing you of being that individual but I just think we could all be a little more open minded sometimes.
We could ride this thing to death,hey I know, why not set the world record for longest post, I'll notify guinness. There must be thousands of home recordists just like us. We'll get them all riled up and onto some kind of sharklike feeding frenzy. This would be good for the site.

Like someone else has said its all subjective. If I like want to chain two sonic maximizers together and play them through studio monitors in my car and like what it does, I'll do it. I wouldn't care if Bach pissed his pants over it. If I want to eat crackers in bed and paint my dog orange I'll do it. It probably wouldnt fit in your book Youre not going to convince me its all evil and I'm not going to convince you so lets just leave it at that.

Like I said it was a simple misunderstanding. No I am not the sharpest tool in the shed but from looking at your artwork I feel a lot better.

Sheesh! I've never been a fan of Fender Stratocasters myself because I have never held a single Strat that I have felt comfortable with. It's a personal thing, but I refrain from bashing the Strat or under estimating its value, impact, and importance to anyone that may own one and consider it the "Holy Grail".

SRV redefinded the Strat just as EVH made it an extension of his arms.

I revel in and admire what they did with it!

My Carvin Bolt feels more comfortable (for some reason) and sounds just as good. Go figure!
