Although I prefer version #2 , both are real nice .

Looking forward to hearing this with drums/bass/lead and vocals. Dogman says this is open to anyone wanting to add to this as a collab.

Or, you can develop your own completely separate version.

Wow. He took out almost all of the phase from that thing. Maybe too much cause it sounds a little dry now. As it is right now it sounds like a solid ryhtym track. If it were an intro it might need more space/filling in it.

I really like this though. Its a simple, standard riff with a solid sound that you find in a lot of the really good driving rock songs. Sounds to me like the early makings of a good Buckcherry hit. We can use this for sure.

I actually came up with a little bass line for this last night....in the next couple of days I will try to lay it down and send it to DJ so he can actually record it with a bass (I was using a classical guitar).

Tonight however I will be out watching the refs give away the Championship to the Miami Cheat....I mean Heat. Mavs have been completely screwed twice now by the boys in blue.

Dragon banned me for 2 days because of my post in a thread about bass traps. I also got a lot of green rep from random people for it too. O well, this place is starting to piss me off.

I've been waiting for the link from lightningmp3 to post my clip for 10 hours now. Until they finally send it, I'll be stewing in my hatred for who ever got me banned.

oh snap. If I'd have known you wnated both tracks together I would have done them that way. I think I was waiting more to see if thats the final riff we are using, and drums. Do you want me to redo it and mix in the guitar part? If thats the case, I need to figure out how to snatch the MP3. Can we get it on soundclick or something?

My riff doesn't have it in the background, I think something is wrong with Cool Edit Pro 2, I'm gettin ridiculous fuzz for no reason. It works in Microsoft Sound Recorder so thats how I recorded it. So someone will have to match it up until I get my software up and running again. This is so depressing! I'm also sending in my firepod for repairs today. Its being fixed under warranty thank god. I made the 1 year manufacturer's warranty by a half hour!

I'm still waiting for lightningmp3 to load my clip.

That lightningmp3 thing didn't work. I'm workin in the studio tonight, gonna try every which way when I can. Plus record more riffs. My firepod pre's decided to stop working. I'll be recording with a computer mic! I'm gonna re-install cubase le too, since cool edit is revolting. I got a lot of work ahead so I hope you can be patient for me .
