I've had notification that all my releases are safe and nothing to worry about, but I did notice this statement hidden away.
Great question! As we transition away from Songtradr Marketplace, we are moving toward a more curated, high-touch licensing model through our global creative agencies.

Active Licenses: Any music previously cleared and actively licensed will remain unaffected, until the official closing,September 1st of marketplace.

New Placements: We’re shifting licensing to be invite-only. We’ve sent out the first round of invites, and while your music might not be part of this initial group, we'll reach out if it's selected down the road. At that time, you’ll be asked to sign a Master Services Agreement. If you've already signed it, your music is already live and available for new opportunities!
Whenever I see a response "great question" - it means oh bugger, you noticed and asked a difficult one.....
MBA speak - a more curated? High touch? What does that even mean? and then they say "and while your music might not be part of this initial group, I suspect it means that they're only going to focus on high demand artists, stuffing folk like me!

Oh well - I suppose I need to try something out and test?

There is much to worry about when a company says there is nothing to worry about.

More Curated and High Touch mean they are going to control their output more strigently - If it were me I would remove all my music and try another service.

That's the thing - removing music is the kiss of death for royalties - it dumps all the trends and you start again, and all those playlists you got onto suddenly lose your stuff. Seriously though, I have a feeling many of these companies are just a small office and a few computers. You sort of think they're huge conglomerates but I bet they're not.
