Yamaha 4-track MD / M-Audio Delta 66 / Behringer UB1622FX / Sonar 2.0XL / WinXP. I record a 4-track MD, feed the 4 tracks independently to the Delta card, and want to mix and record them in Sonar.
If I try to set them up as 4 independent tracks in Sonar for recording, I get either track 1 or track 2 on both Sonar audio tracks 1 and 2, and either track 3 or 4 on both Sonar audio tracks 3 and 4.
I can get all four back independently to the Behringer, so I guess one answer would be to do all the mixing in hardware and just record the final mix to Sonar on 2 tracks. But I have no inputs left on the breakout box....
I've been through the setup and read the manuals over and over, but can't figure out how to get each track to populate each of the four Sonar audio tracks. Is there a limitation in Sonar, or is there some configuration setting I haven't found?
