This was done with a pair of Audio Technica cardiods one for guitar and one for voice. I remixed with Waves in Audition. Any ideas on how to remove the diaphragm pops from the "P's"?

Well, I think you will probably be best suited to find each one individually, and the cough at the end, and try and fix them that way. Not sure if anything would "automatically" do it, without messing the whole thing up. It will take some time, but might be worth it to you.

Yeah....I've isolated the small area of the wave and "silenced" it. Also tried de esser and hiss reduction....it takes the P out but leaves a blank spot.

Hey, I've worked with a lot of audio restoration in my days since a lot of my old recordings really suck (the earliest on tape recorder )... you want me to give this one a shot with all the stuff I've collected and send it back to you if successful?

Hey, thought I'd give this a quick shot, I reduced the P sound and added a techno beat (just kidding)

Obviously it's all up to you on how you want this to sound, but what I found useful... Using a highpass filter or EQ to remove frequencies below 150hz, that reduces room noise, but also deeper sounds, you can mess with that to make it sound the way you want... in addition cutting very very high frequencies reduces the hiss sound... this is what all that sounds like... you can apply these techniques to just the parts with the P sounds so you don't alter the whole song like I did here:
