SM57 OR Rode MT3?

Hey guys,

I'm just wondering on your thoughts. Should I get an SM57 or a Rode MT3? I can get either for $150, the Rode is 2nd hand. The mics I have at the moment are....
-Shure PG58
-Rode M3

I'm looking to record guitar amps, acoustic guitar, vocals and such. I play rock music.

Ill take the Rode if you can get for that price, but the SM57 should be a standard regardless. But grab it up for that price while you can.

The4 Shure SM57 is a proven workhorse for decades,the Rode has not been around nearly that long. and i still see SM57's at $99 a lot. How much does that Rode normally cost?
