I heard a raw track of Katy Perry singing "E.T." or whatever one time and it was pretty terrible! You can find some of the raw tracks on Youtube for certain songs!

*In the box* - A p0rn industry term adopted by the music industry to indicate working on a recording project within the confines of ones DAW on their computer.

Out Of The Box- Where recorded tracks in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) are mixed on an analog console or summed in the analog domain. Also a common complaint from my wife.

Bwahahahahah - that was funny Mike!

Wait, so "Bwahahahahah = that was funny Mike!"?

Hmm, never heard of that slang.. jk :D

Well every studio needs a Mike as much as a lava lamp you see, and he needs to be a funny bastard. Makes the long hours of playing about with sound a little more enjoyable than they already are.
What? You don't have a Mike? You're missing out my good man.

"That one was perfect!" = If I hear you guys mangle that song one more time I will pull out an assault rifle.
"We can fix it in the mix" = I will have someone else play it properly after you leave.
"Band Meeting" = Band is about to break up again OR your out of the band...
"Is there a sick cat in the recording booth?" = you sound awesome
"flogging a dead horse" = self explanatory
