Sky Electirc Guitar Strings?

Hi:
Let me preface this by saying that i feel a little dumb ask this, but here it goes. A couple of months ago I bought a Sky electric guitar, which has a great sound and that I'm quite fond of. But, I need to change the strings on it now. Since I've never had a Sky electric only Fenders, my question is: Is there a certain kind of string that I need to buy for a Sky electric guitar or will regular guitar strings do?

I'd never even heard of Sky guitars til you just brought em up but I would imagine that if ya just put some strings on it, you'd be ok.
Have you checked to see what brand they came with stock? If you like the tone you're getting, just get those again.
I'd think it'd be more along the lines of getting the same gage strings so ya don't have to worry about tweaking the set up.

Or... get funky and experiment with different strings. :)
 
Unless its one of those custom Dean guitars from the 80s (or a Blue Sky), 'Sky' guitars are cheap Chinese instruments and almost any US-made guitar string is going to sound better than what came with it.
 
Strings are cheap, man.

Experiment!!

Always replace strings on a new guitar.
