Simple synth and DAW question......

Ok, ive recently purchased my first soft synth! I always use 'real' instruments so i thought id check some of the Korg Legacy stuff out, seems real good....

How does one print the effect changes you make onto a midi track? Is it one of the touch, latch, read, write selections on the track itself?
