Well I also like the Shure SM7b a great vocal mic and it's not a tube or condenser.

Yup I have a few akg per. 220 and they're not bad I like them for the roll off and pad which come in handy on loud spl also not to bad as drum over head mics in a pinch.

havent gotten idea on how to star what exactly i need and a good prce, its like 200 - 800 bux for treatment and i cant record any where else look like im a bit screwed

i made a 4x6booth from timber and ply sheets and moving blankets, old quilts for £100

you dont even need to go that far
