I have bought a Blue Compass boom arm for a Rode microphone.

I guess I was forcing the shock mount into the boom arm too hard and now it is stuck and I am not able to detach it...

Not sure this is the right place to ask this question but any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thank you so much!!!

Usual trick is a bit of penetrating oil, then a proper grip with a proper tool, and then a sharp, quick unscrewing force.

Sorry, I know this post is very old, but were you ever able to detach it?
I have the EXACT same situation (rode smr shock mount stuck attached to blue compass adapter).
Tried spraying with wd40 (just regular wd40) and waiting, but still unable to detach it.
Wondering if I need to buy a different oil, or if there's some special tool or technique, etc...?

I'm guessing you need to lock on to the knurled brass piece with something like pliers, and then turn the shock mount. You don't want to apply the pressure through the boom arm. Remember the old adage.... righty tighty, lefty loosey.

Oscar will never reply. He posted once in 2019, never to return.

Could also try a little bit (like, hot water level) heat - this is usually the easiest way to loosen a stuck bottle top, and it sort of counts on the very modest expansion of metal as it gets warmer.
