Setting the Kit Up.

Just wondering, why are a few of these kits outside and fully miked? Do you play out there, was it at a gig, just had it out there for pics and decided to record? :confused:
 
Nothing super great, but it works for me.

Other than the fact that I'm willing to bet that head hasn't been changed in a year or two, when throwing in last minute tom hits I'm inconsistant as hell, as long as I get it inside the rim, I don't care. Kinda like a night with the old lady.

i wasn't fully miked, i just had one on the snare and one in the kick, because the dudes i was jamming with wanted to record. couldn't really hear the drums on the recording though. :o
