Sell or Trade / Delta 1010's

Hey guys and gals, I have upgraded to some nicer converters and I have 2 Delta 1010s (full version) that have had the word clock upgrade.

I'd love to find them a new home. At least M-audio has been good about keeping current drivers for them.

They are in fine shape.

I figure that 1 is good for about $250 or both for about $400.
I am easy on trade stuff. Some things I am particularly interested in are:

Smaller wattage tube amp. 12 inch speaker...maybe a 10 inch.
I like slight breakup to bluesy singing-growl...no harsh metal stuff.
OR I have a good clean amp so a nice tube driver type pedal might be the ticket.

hmmm...a fretless bass would be nice or a music man type styled bass.
I have a Jazz type allready.

Microphones...either dynamic vocal type (SM7) , kick drum...Condensors or ribbons with figure 8 are tasty.

Guitars...surprise me..maybe something with humbuckers...I have a strat and a tele. nice acoustic?

a smaller midi keyboard would be nice..I hate making room for my 88 key one it is too large.

maybe something like a portable multi track i can do some live Gig recording with...

These are just the first things that come to mind..anything from preamps to live play gear is cool.. even computer stuff..God knows one of these days I will probably need to up grade.

What is the word clock upgrade? I have a 1010, but I never heard of an upgrade to the word clock.

Well when the 1010s first came out they had a word clock input, but most folks never used it. Most people were simply syncing multiple units together via spidf.

When folks (me) started mixing and matching other gear and started using the wordclock to sync different gear together, the Deltas would sync fine, but a small amount of the synch signal seemed to bleed into the audio making a very faint but audible high pitched oscillation.

When i brought this up to M-Audio they said the were aware of the issue (perhaps only on the earlier version..I don't know) and they had me send them in for upgrade and they worked fine after that.
Not a biggie, but I thought I'd just mention it in case anyone was familiar with the issue.

Oh OK. I never knew that. I haven't yet found a reason to use the wordclock function. I was looking at getting another 1010 to increase my channels, but I am teetering on whether or not to just upgrade to something more expandable. What did you upgrade to?

I added a RME 9652 adat card to the computer, which gives me 24 channel I/O on ADAT lightpipe.
Then I bought a Lucid 9624 (both ad and da) I run through Spidf and (2) 8 channel RME ADI-8s.
I track through these and I added a ADA8000 for additional 8 channels playback.
That way I have 18 good tracking channels and 26 playback for mixing OTB.

I'm sorry for interrupting your post, I was just curious. I am looking for a path to expand and this sounds interesting. I'll have to read up on how that all works.
