I'll bet this was never asked before. ;) Do any of you have any thoughts on using some of the popular scratch remover products to correct light imperfections in the cosmetic condition of various gear (on the metal parts of course), casing, dress panels etc...? Is this a good idea to explore? If yes, what's good out-there?

I'd actually like to know how to remove/buff out scratches from clear plastic pieces, such as the lens that covers my meters on my Pioneer amplifier.:p

SA-7800 in case anyone was wondering what I'm referring to.;)

Would a stainless cleaner work? I use this stuff on my sink. It cleans and takes off scuff marks and things. I got mine at The Home Depot.
