I just did a session for a guy and for payment i got a Yamaha Motif Rack ES!

Now I need to figure out how to work the damned thing.

Yeah I normally charge 25 bucks an hour as an engineer (the studio charges 40 an hour)

This guy came in early <--- I know right. He heard a couple of tracks I was working on.

After two hours (times up) the guy goes man how much will you sell me those beats you made earlier for.

I said 250.00 and the guy goes man I don't have that kind of money but I have this rack and well you know the rest of the story.

Yeah, of all the workstations out there the Motifs are probably one of the most cryptic when it comes the stuff that you see on that screen after you press "Edit"
