Sampling Records in Cool Edit Pro 2.0

Hello,

Can Cool Edit Pro preserve the sound of a song recorded from a record? If not what would one need to preserve the sound?

Do you mean transferring from vinyl to the computer? Any software will work, what matters most for that is your sound card/interface (A/D conversion). Even most entry-level sound cards will be good enough.
